Lisa Jo Sievers, FPQP™
I want my clients to feel as comfortable around me as they feel with their own families. In my line of work it can be easy to overlook the human side of decisions, focusing instead on the technical aspects of investment and wealth management. That’s why I strive to create a listening space where my clients feel safe to share what is going on in their lives, what they want for themselves and their families, and what might be getting in the way. Only when my clients feel supported and heard do we begin tackling the details.
I share several passions with my husband, Tim. He is an architect who designs and creates plans to build homes. A home is much more than a physical space. It’s an emotional space that should serve as a refuge, where each family member feels safe and accepted, designed to help protect, comfort, and nourish relationships. Architects and wealth advisors share many similar attributes; both must be good listeners and collaborators, bringing together specialists who work side-by-side to make their client’s vision a reality.
Another passion I share with Tim is the love of our family which was recently blessed with our first grandchild. Special occasions like this remind me of what an honor it is to celebrate the mutual joys and milestones of life with our clients. Each celebration strengthens my resolve to keep listening, to keep looking for ways to improve, and to keep in close touch.
