Client Services Associate

Stevie Benedict

I began my career in the financial services industry in an unlikely place: on a golf course in a small Northern California town.

I was working there when a regular patron noticed how easily I connect with people; he offered me a client services position with his multinational firm, which launched me on a new path in a new town. Several years later, when my fiancé and I were planning a move to Idaho, I was lucky enough to find R|W. During our first chat, I realized their client-first work culture would be a perfect match — in fact, I didn’t apply anywhere else.

I played four years of collegiate softball and served as a student athletic trainer, which ingrained a diligent work ethic and cultivated my passion for helping others. The skills I learned — listening, empathizing, gaining trust, giving respect, and working as a cohesive unit at all levels — have become part of my life and career choices. As an R|W Client Services Associate, I truly feel I am a teammate with both my colleagues and our clients. My ambition in this industry, and in life, is to ensure each encounter with me is an honest and positive experience.

I was born and raised in Oregon, so this part of the world is familiar, and it offers the simpler life I want for my toddler son and our family. We’re active campers who love to fish and explore new hidden spots with our two dogs, and we’re quickly learning there’s no better place to discover and experience these aspects of outdoor life than here in Idaho. I’m excited to be reacquainting myself with McCall, where my grandparents have lived for more than 60 years, and am looking forward to writing my family’s next chapter here!
