I’m a life-long learner. From the time I was a little girl, I have had my head in a book. I love to read and will crack a book on almost any subject. When I was a teenager, I was babysitting for a family when I discovered my first book on personal finance. I read it as the children slept and I was hooked. I realized then, how we think about money impacts every part of our lives—our emotions, relationships, work and more! So, I went to college so I could read full time and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration.

The joy of learning and the exploration of ideas has led me into some exciting adventures. For the past two decades I have had the privilege of being both a student and a teacher of the Bible—my favorite book! As I transition into this new stage of life, I am looking forward to the challenge of continued learning and the joy of serving others on their financial journey.

If I’m not reading, then I am probably spending time with my husband, Ed or hanging out with our adult kids and grandkids. Jumping at the trampoline park, riding bikes on the greenbelt and camping are just a few of our favorite grandparent adventures!

Let’s take that first step.
