I like to help other people. Even as a child I had that “assistant mentality” – I wanted to be behind the scenes helping, never in the spotlight. When you’ve been an administrative assistant for almost three decades you learn to appreciate helping others. I’ve mostly worked for large organizations – Albertsons and St. Luke’s, for example – and most recently, I worked remotely for a hospital in Boston.

After working for those large organizations and from home, I think I’ve found the perfect fit. Returning to an office environment has been an adjustment (working remotely, I didn’t have to think about which outfit to wear!), but the privilege of working with the great people at R|W Investment Management has made the transition worth it. And that’s not by accident. The people in this office make culture a huge priority. That makes me want to help them – and our clients. Thankfully, I have some experience at that.

I’m excited to continue to learn about the finance industry, and I know the people here will help me grow. Speaking of personal growth, I play a little golf, and I’ve tried pickleball, but I’d like to get better at both. In the meantime, I’ll enjoy spending time with my daughter and granddaughter and on the water with my husband, Andy, as we go for cruises in our 22-foot pontoon boat.
