I received a bachelor’s in accounting and a minor in philosophy from Northwest Nazarene University. This unusual combination taught me that no matter what industry, thoughtful questions and a strong desire for understanding are vital. While at school I interned at a CPA firm and in corporate accounting, learning how numbers can tell a person’s life story. After graduating, I spent a year in accounting for a farm supply company, which sparked my interest in working directly with the people behind the numbers, ultimately leading me to R|W.
As I begin my career as an Associate Advisor, I'm focused on learning everything I can from the advisors around me. I believe good advice starts with careful listening, and I'm looking forward to building on that as I grow here at R|W.
My wife Elvira and I recently bought our first home, and most of our free time these days goes towards working on it. When I’m not doing that, I enjoy reading, writing, and planning trips to Latvia to visit Elvira’s family.
