Like many of us, my journey didn’t unfold in a straight line. I grew up in West Virginia, then moved to Texas and worked for 21 years in the energy industry. During my career I was able to travel the world, complete engineering and operations projects, analyze commercial deals and agreements, and lead teams to develop new technologies. As our family goals changed, we began to explore. Since moving to Idaho in 2021, we have built strong relationships and feel welcomed home.
As an associate wealth advisor, I draw on many of the same skills that served me well in life and the energy industry. I enjoy leading teams, coaching others, and tackling complex issues. My work with R|W allows me to exercise my aptitude for finance and guide our clients toward identifying their core purpose and reaching their goals. I’m honored to be part of a team that shares my values and treats our clients as humans rather than numbers in a portfolio.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoy each of Idaho’s four seasons: we garden, hike, camp and ski whenever we have the opportunity. I’m also a novice baker and enjoy making craft cocktails and coffee. Our friends may talk up my buttermilk biscuit, Old Fashioned, and pour-over coffee skills (not to brag, but they’re right!).
