My love of numbers is what initially drew me into finance: I actually enjoy complex calculations and running spreadsheets. Working at R|W allows me to combine those skills with my passion for people. I’ve traveled extensively and worked with colleagues from all over the world; over the years, I’ve realized that no matter where we’re from, we all have similar wants and needs and dreams.

At R|W, we recognize this and use it as the starting point for every relationship. Our business is secondary to the connection we have on the personal level. I really value our team’s approach because I’ve built my entire career on nurturing connections and treating my clients like family members. Their trust is everything to me.

My wife and I moved from metro Detroit to Boise because we wanted the work-life balance that has made this area famous. Before moving to Idaho, I worked for 25 years in the automotive industry in a number of positions, ranging from designer and engineer to program manager and senior account manager. My work took me around the globe and introduced me to a huge variety of cultures and people.

We have four kids and an empty nest, so we take every opportunity to go hiking, camping, rafting, backpacking, snow shoeing, and skiing. I also volunteer with Boise Adaptive Snow Sports Education and am working on my bachelor’s degree in business administration from Central Michigan University.
